Post-Construction and Renovation Cleaning
Construction dust behaves differently from household dust. Drywall dust is fine enough to pass through a standard vacuum and settle again an hour later, which is why a renovated room cleaned with ordinary equipment looks hazy again the next morning. Getting it out takes the right sequence and the right filtration, not more effort.
We clean after renovations, additions, new builds and single-room remodels for homeowners and contractors across Lancaster County.

What the work involves
- Debris removal — remaining offcuts, packaging, protective sheeting and masking
- Dust removal from the top down — ceilings, light fixtures, fans, vents and returns, wall surfaces, ledges, then floors last
- Residue removal — paint specks, adhesive, caulk, plaster splashes and stickers from glass, tile, fixtures and hardware
- Windows — glass, frames, tracks and sills, including manufacturer labels
- Fixtures and fittings — new cabinetry inside and out, appliances, sanitaryware, switch plates and hardware
- Final detail — floors vacuumed with fine filtration and then washed, repeated where necessary once airborne dust has resettled
Often needed alongside
- A second visit after HVAC has run and remaining dust has settled
- Interior window cleaning throughout the property
- Rug and upholstery cleaning where furniture was in the building during works
Rough clean and final clean
On larger projects the work is usually done in two stages. A rough clean once the trades are finished clears bulk debris and the heaviest dust so that finishing work can proceed. A final clean afterwards brings the property to move-in condition. Small single-room remodels normally need only the final clean.
For contractors
If you are handing a property over to a client, the clean is the last thing they see and the thing they judge the whole project by. We can schedule around your completion date and work evenings or weekends where a handover is fixed.
Pricing
Post-construction work is quoted per project after we understand the scope — square footage, how many rooms were involved, whether the property is occupied, and how much debris remains. It is more labour-intensive than any other clean we offer and is priced accordingly.

Frequently asked questions
How soon after the work finishes should you clean?
After the last trade has left and any final touch-ups are done. Cleaning before then means paying to clean twice. That said, a rough clean mid-project is often worth it on longer jobs.
Will one visit be enough?
For a single room, usually. For a whole-house renovation, fine dust continues to settle for days, especially once heating or air conditioning circulates. Many clients book a shorter follow-up visit a week later.
Do you remove construction debris?
We remove residual debris, packaging and protective materials. Bulk waste — torn-out cabinetry, drywall offcuts, flooring — needs a contractor skip or haul-away, which we do not provide.
Can you get paint off windows and floors?
In most cases yes. Paint on glass and sealed hard floors normally comes off cleanly. Paint that has soaked into unsealed grout or natural stone may not, and we will tell you what is realistic before starting.
What it costs
